Roughan & O’Donovan (ROD) is pleased to announce that Lewis Feely, BEng, Dip Project Mgmnt, CEng MIEI, and Aonghus O’Keeffe, BE, MEngSc, MBA, CEng MIEI, are our newest shareholders and have been appointed technical directors of the company. This brings ROD’s total shareholder group to twelve and technical directors to eight.
ROD Managing Director, Harry Meighan, said: “Lewis and Aonghus have played a central role in our business for thirteen and fourteen years respectively. They have developed great bonds with clients, colleagues and peers, and demonstrated the leadership qualities and strong technical expertise necessary to shape the future course of the company.”
Meet the new shareholders
Lewis Feely
Lewis joined ROD as a senior engineer in 2007.
Lewis has developed ROD’s expertise in the deployment of technologies and innovative services to support road authorities in the operation of transport networks. He leads a multidisciplinary team providing clients with whole-life services from initial concept stage through to deployment, operation and maintenance.
Lewis is commission manager for Transport Infrastructure Ireland's enhancing Motorway Operation Services programme. The programme consists of several sub-projects, including the Motorway Operations Control Centre (MOCC), the M50 Traffic Flow Optimisation (MTFO) Civils and ITS deployment contracts and the Network Intelligence Management System (NIMS) contract.
Aonghus O’Keeffe
Aonghus joined ROD as a graduate engineer in 2006.
As a senior member of ROD's bridges team, Aonghus oversees the delivery of large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, serving public and private sector clients in Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Aonghus leads ROD’s BIM (building information modelling) and asset information management services.
His current project work includes the Great Yarmouth Third River Crossing in Norfolk, enhancing Motorway Operation Services and the A6 Dungiven to Drumahoe dualling scheme in Northern Ireland.
