Your remit will be to design and coordinate all external works associated with our building projects.

Essential

  • A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Level 8 qualification in the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent)
  • Two to five years' relevant experience and sector knowledge
  • Proven technical knowledge and engineering skills
  • Experience of designing drainage and water supply systems
  • Ability to produce quality design outputs
  • Flexible, motivated and focused
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent or highly proficient in spoken and written English

Desirable

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Proficiency in WinDes/Microdrainage
  • Experience in site level design
  • Experience in road design
  • Client-facing skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Membership of a professional body, such as Engineers Ireland or the Institution of Civil Engineers
