About the role

Working in support of a multidisciplinary team, you will gain valuable experience assessing projects across a range of sectors, including transportation and infrastructure development.

Our current projects include:

Responsibilities

  • Modelling of anticipated transportation impacts of projects using Saturn, Linsig and other industry-standard software
  • Appraisal of transportation and economic impacts of transportation and other infrastructure projects
  • Financial modelling and appraisal
  • Documentation of modelling outputs and preparation of appraisal reports
  • Preparation of supporting documentation for feasibility studies and planning applications
  • Preparation of inputs for Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) 
  • Liaison with clients, stakeholders, regulators, subcontractors and other internal disciplines as required

Essential

  • Relevant degree (minimum Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent)
  • Two to five years' postgraduate experience
  • Good knowledge of junction modelling and interrogation, traffic signal plans and urban design
  • Comfortable processing and sense checking large datasets
  • Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a busy environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality outputs
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated, positive, assertive and focused
  • Fluency/high proficiency in spoken and written English

Desirable

  • MSc qualification
  • Experience using Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
  • A desire for delivery of environmentally sustainable solutions
