Aonghus is company secretary of ROD and a leading member of our bridges team. He has over 16 years’ experience serving public and private sector clients in Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Aonghus oversees the delivery of major infrastructure projects - from feasibility through to construction supervision - and leads our BIM (building information modelling) and asset information management services. He has published and presented internationally on the topic of BIM for infrastructure and represents the National Standards Authority of Ireland in BIM standardisation at European level.
Aonghus played a central role in the CEDR INTERLINK research project, which developed a practical, scalable, futureproof approach to asset information management for national road authorities.
He holds an MEngSc (Information Technology in Architecture, Engineering and Construction) from University College Cork and an MBA from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
His recent project work includes Herring Bridge, Great Yarmouth; the enhancing Motorway Operation Services Programme, and the A6 Dungiven to Drumahoe dualling scheme in Northern Ireland.
